About the grant
The purpose is to accelerate the implementation of the EU's European Health Data Space (EHDS) by strengthening digital health systems across Europe. Three areas are in focus: support for healthcare providers and authorities to introduce digital services that give citizens control over their medical record data, improved data quality and structure for secondary use of health data, training of providers who will help implement EHDS in practice. The project shall achieve this through targeted support and funding to third-party actors across the EU, aiming to create a more connected, efficient and data-driven healthcare system. The consortium may consist of public and private actors such as authorities, hospitals, companies, research institutions and non-profit organisations within the patient and healthcare sector.
