About the grant

The call is aimed at research and innovation projects seeking to develop economically viable solutions that contribute to more sustainable resource use and a more circular economy. A total of 35 million SEK in support will be distributed. The project must consist of at least two project partners, preferably of different types, such as companies, research institutes, universities, the public sector or other legal entities. Support can be granted to project partners who demonstrate actual and auditable costs. Depreciation costs for equipment during the project period are eligible for support. The support level varies depending on organisation type and research category, for example up to 70% for small companies within industrial research, but the project's total support level cannot exceed 50%. Project start no earlier than July 2024 and project completion no later than 31 August 2027. Applications were made via the Swedish Energy Agency's website, with the last application date being 29 February 2024. Foreign organisations may participate under certain conditions, but support is primarily given to actors with operations in Sweden.

  • Foreign organisations may participate but support is primarily given to actors with operations in Sweden.
