About the grant
The call is a collaboration between Formas, the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning, the Swedish National Heritage Board, ArkDes and the Swedish Arts Council. It targets universities, colleges, research institutes, companies, organisations and municipalities. Funds are granted to projects combining professional artistic competence and research competence to highlight artistic perspectives and the role of public art in sustainable design of living environments. Approximately 38.5 million SEK was granted to ten projects in autumn 2020, with project durations up to four years.
