Horizon Europe is the EU's key programme for funding research and innovation during 2021-2027 with a budget of approximately 93.5 billion euros. The programme aims to combat climate change, achieve the UN's sustainability goals and strengthen the EU's competitiveness and growth. It facilitates collaboration and enhances the impact of research and innovation in developing and implementing EU policies and addressing global challenges. The programme supports the creation and dissemination of excellent knowledge and technology, creates jobs, engages the EU's talent pool and promotes economic growth and industrial competitiveness within the European Research Area. Legal entities from the EU and associated countries can participate.
