About the grant
The call supports innovation projects developing replicable methods for sustainable eating habits, new food products with positive health properties and low environmental impact, optimising processing of Swedish raw materials, developing food and drink through innovative processes and new solutions for upgrading by-products and side streams. The project includes two partners within the food sector – companies and research performers. Principal applicant can be company, university, college or research institute. The business partner must contribute at least 50% co-financing for own costs. Project duration is 12–24 months and the grant is 1–2 million SEK from Formas. Application is open until 29 January 2026 at 14:00.
