About the grant
Nordic Energy Research invites tenders for the study "Accelerating Offshore Wind Deployment in the Nordics" focusing on challenges related to permitting processes, identification of barriers, exploration of opportunities and collection of best practices to accelerate offshore wind deployment in the Nordics. The study shall gather and analyse information that can be shared with authorities, energy companies, industry, academia and civil society. It maps permitting processes and potential barriers at local, national and EU levels, and analyses how these processes can be streamlined with examples from other European countries. The study shall also assess the status of data and knowledge exchange between Nordic countries and develop a catalogue of recommendations aimed at decision-makers at the Nordic level.
