About the grant
Nordic Energy Research invites tenders for the study "Capacity – and Flexibility Markets – an overview of different possible designs with their advantages and disadvantages". The purpose is to contribute to an informed and coordinated Nordic implementation of the EU regulation on capacity mechanisms and flexibility support systems. The study shall analyse the pros and cons of different design options and how these function in integrated cross-border electricity markets, as well as how capacity and flexibility markets can interact. The study shall particularly highlight how new capacity and flexibility markets can be designed to address these issues from a Nordic perspective.
