About the grant
Vinnova finances hypothesis testing or feasibility studies to test groundbreaking ideas within industrial development. The purpose is to enable organisations to test ideas that may have great significance for industrial development but have a risk level that makes it difficult to find other financing. Applications may concern hypotheses, feasibility studies or tests of an idea that is groundbreaking, for example a technology, methodology or strategy that can radically affect an area within industrial development. Projects can lead to radically renewed value chains, materials, production systems, products, services, methods or strategies within Swedish industry. The project may last up to 12 months and must start before the end of 2018. Applications can be made by individual applicants or consortia. Co-financing is not required but the application must justify why the idea cannot be pursued within regular offerings where co-financing is required.
