About the grant
Nordic Energy Research invites tenders for the project "Evaluation of Electricity Retail Markets in the Nordic Countries". The project aims to conduct an evaluation of how the electricity retail markets function in the Nordic countries, analysing the competitive situation, customer satisfaction and regulations. The study will also examine the behaviour of market actors, especially households and non-households, and their reactions to changing market conditions during the winter of 2022/2023. The evaluation will address questions of competitiveness, customer trust and awareness, as well as legal conditions and limitations. The results should be usable in the implementation of changes to the electricity market directive following the conclusion of negotiations on electricity market reform.
