About the grant
The National Board of Health and Welfare pays out government grants to the regional collaboration and support structures so that during 2026 they support municipalities in the transition to a long-term sustainable, more preventive and knowledge-based social services. The funds, a total of SEK 50 million, are to be used during 2026. Recipients must apply to become representatives before requisition and comply with the conditions according to Regulation 2025:1256. The grant is requisitioned via e-service after approved representative application. Recipients must submit territorial reporting and be able to show documentation for the use of funds according to the law on municipal accounting and reporting. Documentation may include extracts from the general ledger, invoices, payroll records and more. Territorial reporting for the 2025 grant must be submitted no later than 2 March 2026 via a web-based form.
Requirements
- Recipients must be regional collaboration and support structures.
- Recipients must apply to become agents before requisition.
- Conditions are governed by Regulation 2025:1256.
- Recipients shall submit interim reporting and be able to provide documentation for the use of the funds in accordance with the Act (2018:597) on municipal accounting and reporting.
