About the grant
The Knut & Ragnvi Jacobsson Family Foundation offers personal scholarships in two categories: researchers at Swedish higher education institutions with an entrepreneurial mindset and projects with the potential to address important societal challenges, and entrepreneurs with a registered Swedish company and at least one submitted annual report. The scholarship is personal and intended for education that strengthens the individual and their venture, for example in leadership. One of the scholarship recipients in 2025 received SEK 600,000 for research on fungus-based, self-healing concrete that can reduce CO₂ emissions and extend the lifespan of constructions.
