About the grant
The grant can be given for the purchase of external independent consultancy services in areas such as product development, marketing (excluding ongoing sales costs and market cultivation), organisational adaptation for growth, environmental/quality certification, energy mapping, energy analysis, board training/strengthening and skills development. The grant is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises conducting commercial activities in Norrbotten County and that are not newly started. The company must demonstrate active sustainability work, for example through participation in the Sustainability Dialogue with Almi. The maximum grant is SEK 150,000 or 50 percent of approved costs. Grants are not awarded for statutory measures, operating costs or own work. The investment must not begin before the application is submitted and at least two quotes from independent consultants must be attached to the application. Applications are made digitally via the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth's e-service My Application. Assessment of the application is based on four selection criteria focusing on sustainable regional development and connection to the Norrbotten Strategy 2040 and other regional governing documents.
Requirements
- The company must be a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) conducting commercial activities in Norrbotten County.
- The company must not be newly established.
- The company must demonstrate active sustainability work, for example through the Sustainability Dialogue with Almi.
- The investment must not commence before the application has been submitted.
- At least two quotes from independent consultants must be attached to the application.
- Grants are not awarded for statutory measures, operating costs or own work.
- Salaries and employment benefits must at least correspond to applicable collective agreement.
- Companies with a mobile nature such as contracting businesses and haulage companies are not eligible for grants.
- Companies operating in local/regional competitive markets are not eligible for grants.
- Companies within fishing or fish processing are not eligible for grants.
