About the grant
The project aims to provide new knowledge about the elderly’s needs for security and digital inclusion as well as possible IoT solutions adapted for secure housing. The project is a collaboration between the municipal housing company Eksta Bostads AB (public housing), municipal administrations, several universities and RISE. A feasibility study is conducted to identify actual needs and assess how enabling technology can be integrated into the secure housing Kolla Parkstad, a newly built secure housing with 80 tenants. If the feasibility study is promising, a continuation with implementation is planned. The project is completed.
