About the grant
Investment grants for public assembly premises can be given for new construction, reconstruction, standard-enhancing repairs and purchase. It can also be given for accessibility measures for people with disabilities. To receive investment grants, the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning requires the municipality to provide 30 percent co-financing. The Board's support is 50 percent and the association itself contributes 20 percent, either in own funds or voluntary work. For accessibility adaptation, support is provided at 100 percent, but no more than SEK 300,000. The value of voluntary work time is SEK 220 per hour. The application deadline is 1 December each year.
