About the grant
The Swedish Energy Agency announces funds to strengthen the expansion of charging infrastructure for heavy vehicles in connection with loading and unloading.
Requirements
- The charging station must be built on a property where activities of strategic importance for heavy transport are conducted, such as warehousing, transshipment centre, port or recycling.
- The charging station must be open to carriers other than the grant recipient.
- The charging points must be able to deliver a power of at least 150 kW, with load balancing allowed down to 75 kW.
- The charging stations must be completed no later than 30 September 2029 and be in operation for at least 5 years after completion.
- Eligible costs are costs for the construction, installation, upgrading and expansion of the charging infrastructure.
- Support is granted through a competitive tendering process where projects are ranked according to support efficiency (SEK/kW).
