Micro support - Region Dalarna

About the grant

Region Dalarna offers financial support to newly started companies that are up to five years old and have a turnover of a maximum of SEK 1 million. The support can be used for machinery, unique inventory for the business (not computers or mobile phones), marketing, product development, design and skills development. Micro support is given for smaller investments between SEK 20,000-60,000 and amounts to a maximum of 50 percent of the investment. The support can only be given once per company and can be applied for throughout the county. The business must be assessed as profitable in the long term and employment sustainable. Support cannot be given to agricultural, forestry, horticultural companies or companies in fishery and aquaculture. Exceptionally, support can be given to grocery stores in sparsely populated areas for commercial service. Support is not given to businesses where there is a risk of market distortion, such as trade, mobile businesses, contracting and transport companies or services aimed at the local market.
