About the grant
If you or your company cannot get internet or telephony at reasonable cost from any provider on the market, you can apply for support from PTS. PTS investigates whether you meet the conditions for support and procures equipment that is installed in your home or business premises. You pay SEK 5,000 yourself. The support applies to connection to basic internet with at least 10 Mbit/s or telephony. The support only applies if there is no possibility to get a connection for SEK 5,000 or less via market actors' offers, regardless of technology (fiber, cable TV, mobile networks or satellite). The support cannot be given for summer cottages, improvement of mobile coverage via mobile phone, equipment you have obtained yourself, subscriptions or use of services. PTS's measure only covers measures that provide a connection.
Requirements
- Residence or business premises must lack the possibility to get a connection for SEK 5,000 or less via the market.
- You must pay for electricity yourself.
- Support is not given for summer cottages or holiday homes.
- Support is not given for improvement of mobile coverage via mobile phone.
- Support is not given for equipment you have obtained yourself.
- Support is not given if it is likely that a connection for SEK 5,000 or less will be available within a reasonable time.
- Support is not given for costs for subscriptions and use of services.
