About the grant
Bioenergy Value Chain Programme is a programme from Nordic Energy Research and the Bioeconomy Programme under Nordic Forest Research (SNS) aiming to create synergies through collaboration in biomass sectors in the Nordic and Baltic countries. The programme focuses on analysing biomass-based value chains to increase security of bioenergy supply, identify knowledge gaps and needs for further analyses, and document biogenic origin. The goal is to facilitate Nordic and national added value through recommendations for increased use of local and regional biogenic carbon for energy purposes, create meeting places for Nordic research expertise and collaboration, and contribute to building stronger Nordic models, datasets and recommendations for authorities and decision-makers.
Requirements
- The project must have participation from at least three Nordic or Baltic countries.
- Nordic and Baltic countries are defined as Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Sweden and the autonomous areas Greenland, Faroe Islands and Åland.
