About the grant
Nordic Energy Research invites tenders for a study to identify energy efficiency measures implemented in the Nordic countries that can be replicated in other Nordic countries, as well as barriers to effective implementation. The study will also examine the extent to which the projects or activities align with the Nordic energy efficiency agenda and support the EU's principle of energy efficiency first. The commission includes mapping energy efficiency activities in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Iceland and the Faroe Islands, identifying key barriers, examples of experiences and best practices, transferability and adaptation of existing initiatives, surveys and analysis of household energy behaviour during the energy crisis 2022–2023, and organising meetings, webinars, workshops and a final conference.
Requirements
- The commission concerns the Nordic countries: Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Iceland and the Faroe Islands.
- The study shall map past and current energy efficiency activities.
- The study shall identify key barriers to energy efficiency in the Nordics.
- The study shall include examples of experiences and best practices.
- The study shall analyse transferability and adaptation of existing initiatives.
- The study shall conduct an online survey and analyse changes in household energy behaviour during the energy crisis 2022–2023.
- The study shall organise meetings, webinars, workshops and a final conference.
