About the grant
Leader grants project support for rural development during 2023–2027 with a total of 1.7 billion SEK to strengthen the competitiveness and development of Sweden's rural areas. The support is based on the Leader method focusing on local anchoring and engagement. Leader support can be applied for by associations, companies and other organisations with an idea that can contribute to rural development. The project idea must align with the development strategy unique to each Leader area and benefit many people. The more public benefit a project has, the more support it can receive. One should contact their Leader area to see what opportunities exist.
