About the grant
Organisations in Värmland County can apply for grants for projects making health-promoting and suicide prevention efforts in line with the county-wide strategic plan for suicide prevention in Värmland. The efforts shall be conducted in project form, outside regular activities and be limited in time, finances and work effort. Examples of efforts are increasing knowledge, spreading awareness, reducing stigma or offering support to persons at risk and their relatives. Projects can be carried out until 31 October 2027. Applications are processed continuously until 7 June 2026. The initiative is funded through state grants for mental health and suicide prevention and decisions on funds are made by the steering group for the regional network for suicide prevention in Värmland.

- The project must be in line with the county-wide strategic plan for suicide prevention in Värmland.
- The project must be conducted in project form, outside regular activities.
- The project must be limited in time, finances and work effort.
