About the grant

SEB's innovation grant is awarded in collaboration with FUHS to young entrepreneurs with research-based business ideas. The grant aims to encourage the development of research-based startups with high growth potential. Each grantee is awarded 200,000 SEK to be able to work full-time with their company and take the step from research to full-scale commercialisation. The grant is financed by SEB's Development Foundation and is part of SEB's Entrepreneur Ladder, the bank's ecosystem for entrepreneurs. Selection is made via nominations from Swedish university holding companies (members of FUHS) and a jury from SEB and FUHS. The grant amount is paid out in two instalments, half at the announcement and half after six months provided the work is active.

Requirements

  • Must be a young entrepreneur with a research-based business idea.
