About the grant
Stage Two is the largest entrepreneurship competition in the European university world. Lund University's partnership with Stage Two gives your team the chance to showcase your innovation among Europe's most promising university startups. A spin-off from Lund University competed in the prestigious Berlin final in October 2025. The next competition will take place in 2026. The competition is a springboard for founders seeking capital and partnerships for the next 12 months. In 2024, more than 50 startups presented to over 60 venture capital firms and over 30 industry leaders. The prize pool exceeded 5 million euros in 2024. Participants receive international exposure, access to an international digital coaching network, support from Lund University and the opportunity to participate in three days of workshops, pitch sessions and networking in Berlin.
Requirements
- Startups connected to Lund University
- Startups that have raised no more than €500,000 in equity and/or no more than €1,500,000 in grants before the first pre-event summer/autumn 2025
- Startups seeking funding within 12 months
- Startups offering innovative, scalable products or services with potential to impact the world
