Event organiser support for non-profit organisers in Västra Götaland 2025–2027
Grants for non-profit associations in Västra Götaland to receive support for costs at public cultural events with professional cultural practitioners.
Maximum SEK 10,000 per event, maximum SEK 20,000 per association per year
50% of costs, or 75% if the event has no ticket revenue
Applications are processed continuously as long as the budget lasts
About the grant
The new organiser support replaces previous loss grants and gives non-profit organisers in Västra Götaland the opportunity to apply for grants in advance to cover costs such as fees, travel, accommodation, venue rental and technology at cultural events. The support is administered by SAMSAM in collaboration with Riksteatern Väst and aims to strengthen non-profit actors' opportunities to organise cultural events, provide professional cultural practitioners better opportunities to reach out, and create more occasions for residents to experience professional culture in various locations.
Requirements
- Applicants must be non-profit associations, economic associations without profit distribution or non-profit companies.
- The association must be a member of a national organisation (e.g. Folkets Hus och Parker) or have received public support in the last two years.
- Support is not given to for-profit companies, sole proprietorships or private individuals.
- Applications must be submitted before the event takes place.
- Reporting in the form of a short report with audience numbers and financial summary must be submitted within four weeks after the event.
