About the grant
The Fenix scholarship is awarded to a member association that outstandingly represents the symbolism of the phoenix bird – constant renewal, strength and resurrection – even under the most challenging circumstances. The scholarship honours associations that rise from difficult situations and continue to make a difference. The prize amount is SEK 10,000. The award was created by the Western People's House and Park Region and was awarded in the region between 2021-2023. From 2025, the national organisation awards the prize every three years in connection with the People's House and Parks association meeting. Candidate proposals can come from associations and individuals. Decisions are made by the People's House and Parks working committee.
